Robocall SPAM increases in the USA Tuesday, November 1, 2016
Americans seem to be the most un-lucky mobile phone holders on earth. Reports issued by Hiya, an independent and trusted global leader in the amounts regarding mobile phone spams and robocall numbers throughout the world. They have estimated that in September of 2016 Americans received, or should we say were spammed by, nearly 984 million robocalls. This is a staggering number to say the least. The company scans over 3.5 billion calls and the data they released has been a jaw dropper to most. The American population probably agree that they are bombarded with these robocalls, and they couldn’t be more right.
Exploit kits have been around since 2006, the first being MPack. These exploit kits are a type of computer software which are designed to run on servers, were all the data is stored, or end user machines and it identifies a weakness in the machines it communicates with. Usually servers have many client machines, sending requested data to machines, and the kit is searching for a hole in the armor of those machines.
